Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (ideally 500°F or 260°C). If you have a pizza stone, preheat it as well.
In a bowl, crush the San Marzano tomatoes using your hands or a fork. Add olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Stir well and set aside.
Dust a baking sheet with cornmeal. Roll out your pizza dough into a thin round.
Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce* over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Tear and place pieces of fresh mozzarella on top.
Bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly (about 7 - 10 minutes).
Add fresh basil and pinches of red pepper flakes and drizzle with olive oil before serving
